Re: [TRNSYS-users] pgi compiler

Marius,
I do not have any experience with the PGI compiler. However, some users have managed to use the free G95 compiler that is (I think) part of GCC to create new types. Here is a link to a document that gives some explanation. I don't have any direct experience with the G77 or G95 compilers but I have a bad feeling that might change soon...

Hi everyone,

I want to work with MS Visual Studio and the PGI compiler to create my own types, or change existing ones.

Am I right, that I need special files for this compiler? I tried to change a file which seems to be created with the Compaq VF compiler.

Has anybody a idea how to get the TRNSYS files like trnsysconstants.mod for the PGI compiler?

Thanks,

Marius
