Re: [TRNSYS-users] Shading of PV panels

Heike,
There is a component in the TESS Green Building Library (Type551) that is designed for this purpose. It also allows you to make a few different assumptions about how the shaded fraction affects the electrical output since the effect is non-linear. The Type uses more or less the same mathematical algorithms as Type30 but modified to allow for shading on vertical surfaces.
Best,
 David

Dear all,

I have to simulate PV –Modules on  window shading panels, with a fix angel of 30°

The  problem is the shading by their own.

I tried to solve the problem with type 64 Wingwall, but it only works with vertical walls.

And  type30  don´t work with the field slope 90°

Has someone an idea to solve this problem in Trnsys 16?

thanks in advance for any idea
