<Each wall surface in TRNBuild has a unique surface ID that
is automatically generated.  Will there be any potential problems when
running a simulation with more than one multi-zone building that contain
identical surface ID’s that correspond to different surfaces in separate
type 56’s?>

You can only have one Type 56 in any simulation in TRNSYS.  Each
multi-zone building "model" may have several different buildings in it
though so the limitations you're worried about shouldn't be a problem.
