Re: [TRNSYS-users] Urgent!! - help on Type 340 Multiport Storage
Hi Stefan,
I experienced similar problems with this type, and we solved simply reducing
time step to a value really small. What we think is that the flow rate
through boiler heat exchangers in one time step shouldn't be greater than
the defined heat exchanger volume (for default heat exchanger parameters).
Hope it helps,
Angel

Asunto: [TRNSYS-users] Urgent!! - help on Type 340 Multiport Storage
Hello everybody,
currently I have a problem with Type 340. I use it on system with
different heat sources. Heat exchanger 1 is a solar loop, Heat
exchanger 2 is warm water supply. 2 Doubleports are used for heating
purpose.
Unfortuanately the system is very unstable. Sometimes it works,
sometimes it hangs up without any warning or message.
Has anybody made the same experience?
Any suggestions?
I am sure that I defined every parameter right. So the problem depends
on the simulation system...
Thanks,
S. Thiemann
