[TRNSYS-users] Storage

Hello everybody,

I just encountered some strange thing concerning storage. According to
 the manual (part 8) storage should be done by the functions set
 storage size, get and set storage. Nevertheless I found a definition
 like this in type 401 heat pump:
Store(2)  = dble(hpmode)
without any of the mentioned functions afterwards.
Could anybody explain how storage exactly works?
Is the double notation like
stored(1) = stored(2) still necessary in trnsys 16 and why?
