Re: [TRNSYS-users] Water Storage Open Tank

Ankur,
There is an in-ground pool model available as a nonstandard add-on component from Transsolar. It assumes that thermal losses from the sides of the pool are negligible which is probably not the case in your system but it does a good job accounting for the thermal and mass transfer on the open water surface.
Kind regards,
David

Dear All Trnsys User,

I want to Simulate a open water storage tank placed in a conditioned room. I have to see the effect of heat and moisture transfer through this water tank. Will some body will guide me how to simulate it on trnsys.

With Regards,
