Re: [TRNSYS-users] Data reader
Ivan,
In addition to Adrien's comment, make sure that the file you are
reading is ascii text; Type9 can only read text files and cannot read
the *.xls format (or Matlab's native format).
Also check to make sure that the file does not have a 0KB size.
Sometimes when a file isn't found where it was expected, a blank one is
created. In this case, you would have gotten a slightly different error
message (end of file found) instead of "unable to read," but just in case...
Best,
David

Dear users,
i need to import a column data as inlet flow rate input for a solar
system tank.
I'm trying to use Type 9a to read the file from excel or from a MATLAB
file. but i have this error "Unable to correctly read from the
supllied data file. Please check the file and re-run the simulation.
The most likely cause of this problem is an empty or non-existent file"
Could someone help me please?
Ivan
