Roberto,I do not believe that Type70 is going to help; fundamentally, TRNSYS only reads parameters once at the beginning of the simulation and stores the values. No matter what happens after the beginning of the simulation, those originally stored values are recalled. What Type70 does is it causes certain parameter values that are in the simulation input file to be ignored and to be replaced (at the start of the simulation) by some parameter values that are found in an external file (presumably left behind by a preprocessor of some kind). In order to make a variable that is a parameter vary with time, you need to modify the source code to change the parameter into an input then recompile the TRNDll.

dear users, I have create a type that define heat specific and density of glicole-water mixture as a function of temperature; now I'd like to connect these hourly values with some types but, into the types, I find them like parameters. I should use type 70: could someone send me a text file example or explain me how to use it?thanks in advanceRobertoPresentaci un amico!
