Re: [TRNSYS-users] File name error- Type56

Rambod,
The "run TRNSYS" feature in TRNBuild allows you to run your building with a very simplistic input file; you have to make sure that all your path names in TRNBuild's options are correct. The feature is normally used only to get results for a particular standard German test. I would instead recommend that you create your building in TRNBuild but run the simulation from the Simulation Studio as this is the "normal" way of operating. You can find a number of example simulations already set up in the ..\Trnsys16\Examples\ directory.
Kind regards,
David

Dear TRNSYS users,
I have started self-training TRNSYS for my PhD disseration couple of weeks ago. I have encountered an error to run a simple building using Type56. After Clicking on "maximum heat load calculations' it asks "calculations terminated" or "run TRNSYS". When I click on "run TRNSYS" a file name error appears that says the file C:\... does not exist. My second question is if I select "calculation terminated" where the results will be stored. I would really appreciate it if anybody help me to remove the error and see some numbers as results. Thanks, Rambod
