Re: [TRNSYS-users] Large open tanks of water, indoor

Hello Francis.,

There exists the Type344 indoor or outdoor pool model from Transsolar that can likely model your scenario. Please contact me or hotline@transsolar.com for more info.

I wish to model an experimental test facility. It is a multi zone building. An air source heat pump is being used to control the temperature of 2 large open tanks of water (both in seperate zones) as well as controlling the ambient air temperature of the facility. Is there a way to model the tanks of water, taking into account the sustantial change in thermal mass of the facility with these tanks present? Is there a component in the TRNSYS library?
