If you have TESS library, you can use the tank Type 534 which has the number of heat exchangers as one of the parameters.

Good morning everyone,
I try to model the solar thermal installation of a building.
The solar thermal panels are connected to a 800l water tank via a first heat
exchanger (between the water circulating in the panel and the water stored
in the tank) located at the botom of the tank.
If the water in the tank is not hot enough (in winter months for example), a
second heat exchanger (between the hot water of a gas boiler and the tank),
located at the top of the tank, is turn on.
I am not sure how to model the double heat exchanger tank. Can I just use
type4e or do I have to add heat exchangers such as type 5g?
Thank you very much.
