...or do you mean a system embedded into the floor or ceiling material,
like a radiant system (missed that word 'embedded' on the first read
through)? In that case you need to consider the mass of that material.
Using the 'active slab' model in type 56 you could figure out the
heating power of the system from the entering and leaving water temp and
massflow, and consider that as your electric power. The physics of the
model are a bit different (ie, pipe spacing and transfer dynamics) than
the electric system would be, but it ought to be somewhat close. And you
would need to consider a control system, like type 2, to control the
slab system.

I am using TRNSYS for the first time and I have made the modelisation of
a building using type 56 component. Now, I have to model an embedded
electrical heating system and I don't know if I should try to model this
directly in type 56 or if I should use another component.
Any idea?
