Re: [TRNSYS-users] Data Limit Surfaces, type 56

Thijs,
Window surfaces are counted by TRNBuild and Type56 as separate surfaces (you'll notice that they have their own surface ID displayed in TRNBuild (or in the *.bui file if you open it with a text editor).
Kind regards,
 David

Dear Trnsys users,

in the type 56 manual is stated that the amount of surfaces in a model is limited at 999. I was wondering, when I have a wall with a window in it, should I consider this combination as one surface or as two different surfaces? When you work with a large model and a lot of fictive windows the difference can be critical. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
