Re: [TRNSYS-users] Simulate a 4-storey building with identical zones

Hallo Jerome!

If You're only interested in the better part of the sum of all rooms You can just simulate a single room and set the boundary-condition to identical. Then You can scale the results; For example heating-energy-demand x200, ...

If You also want to analyse the rooms under the roof and in the corners of the building, You should simulate at least two moor room additional to the centre of the building (roof-room + 2 not-roof-room).

The simulation-method was developed and proven by Prof. Gerd Hauser (*1).

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Simulate a 4-storey building with identical zones

Hi everyone,

I am simulating a 4-storey hotel (200 rooms), with TRNBUILD. All the rooms are identical, with identical thermal behaviour. Do I have to create 200 zones, or can I simplify the model?
Thank you in advance!

Jerome
