  The only addition necessary to the EES file are:

$Import 'CLIPBOARD'

and

$Export 'CLIPBOARD'

for which you need to have the Professional version (I believe). You can take a look at the Calling EES example in the ..\Trnsys16\Examples\ directory. The file is compressor.ees
