Dani,
 you are correct, GT stands for "greater than." The function returns a value of 1 if the first argument in parenthesis is greater than the second and a 0 otherwise. For a more complete description, please refer to section 7.3.9.1 of the documentation set.

"More elaborate answer" question: It is "GT( two parameters separated by commas)".  This output goes into the On/Off signal of the controller. I dont quite understand what the controller receives as a sign to activate then the following pump.
