Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNOPT's problem

Dear Dapeng Li,

I apologize for the delay getting back to you. Yes, you will need a TRNSYS
update. I will send you instructions to download the latest version in a
separate email. If anyone else needs an update to TRNSYS 16.01.0003,
please contact your respective TRNSYS distributor.

I am not familiar with the Genopt error. Does the simulation run at least
once in TRNSYS? There are a few things that you can look to shed some
light on the subject. After you install the updated version and TRNOPT,
there is a directory (.\Optiomization\Genopt\Simulation) with a list
(*.lst) file that will usually contain information on why it does not
work.

Subject:[TRNSYS-users] TRNOPT's problem

Dear Matt and all TRNSYS users,

I have downloaded the updated TRNOPT from the ftp. After I installed it and
run it, the problems I mentioned last email was solved. But when the example
run a cycle (i.e. initial simulation), a new error appear in GENOPT. Please
refer to the attachment which is the error's screenshot.

My trnsys's version is 16.01.0002. Does it need update?

Thank you!

Dapeng Li
