Nicola,
 The capacitance is the mass times the specific heat. Typically a good first guess for a room is to multiply the volume of the room by 1.2 kg/m3 (to get the mass of the air) and then to multiply that value by somewhere between 5 and 10. You are essentially saying that the air and furnishings have a capacitance that is 5 to 10 times as much as the capacitance of the air itself.
