Re: [TRNSYS-users] Vista?

Sasa,
We have been using TRNSYS on a Vista machine without too much trouble. The Simulation Studio was developed prior to Vista and does not officially support Vista. That said, we have not encountered any real problems with the Studio and Vista. The TRNSYS engine also seems to run fine on Vista as long as the person using the machine has administrator priveledges. The one problem that we have encountered is with some of the TESS Library plugins (not the components themselves, but the plugins that interface with the Studio). These apparently use some operating system files that are not part of Windows anymore. We do not yet have a workaround.
Kind regards,
 David
