Re: [TRNSYS-users] solar water source heat pump

Imad,
The water-to-air heat pump is Type504 in the TESS GHP Library or Type505 in the TESS HVAC library (it is called a "water source heat pump" in the libraries). The drying chamber is a little harder. The chamber itself could probably be quite readily modeled using Type56. However, you might need to write or obtain a model of the substance that you are trying to dry so that you can get the moisture input into the air of the chamber from the substance as it is subjected to the hot air from the heat pump and as it dries.
Kind regards,
 David

now iam preparing to install a water -to-air heat pump. assisted by hot water from a collector. then the heat delivered at condenser will be directed to a drying chamber. the problem is that i haven't found neither a water -to- air heat pump, nor a dryer model in TRNSYS 16
or library and in TESS. please, and opinion will be of value.
Thanks
Imad
