Re: [TRNSYS-users] Question about Matlab - Simulink

Artemi,
There is a link between TRNSYS and Matlab through a TRNSYS component called Type155. If you are using TRNSYS with Matlab 2007, you will need to obtain a modified Type155.dll file from your distributor; when new Matlab versions come out, we have to relink the Type155.dll against the new Matlab libraries. I might also mention that there are a number of evaporative cooler models available in the TESS HVAC Library. If you need additional information, please let me know.
Kind regards,
 David

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Question about Matlab - Simulink

Dear TRNSYS users

I am a new user of TRNSYS. I am trying to simulate a roof pond system using TRNSYS. Since roof ponds are not included to Standard Component Library,

I wonder whether I can create the simulating code using Matlab 2007b, instead of Programming with Fortran.

Furthermore, Matlab concludes software named Simulink, that probably can be used for that purpose. Is Simulink compatible with TRNYS?

Thank you very much.
