Re: [TRNSYS-users] error
Dear Yemane,
A floating-point error is essentially an unhandled error in the Fortran
code. There are a number of reasons why it might occur. The most common
is a division by zero or the log of a negative number. Try setting the
"debug mode" (the 9th field in the component control cards) to "true,"
then rerun your simulation. This causes TRNSYS to check for component
outputs that have been set to "not a number" and to check for components
that are accidentally writing outside the space that they reserved for
themselves. It may point to the offending component. If you are using
only standard and commercially available components then I would
recommend that you contact your distributor as they will be able to
debug the project and find out the cause of the error.
Kind regards,
David
