Re: [TRNSYS-users] Application of Storage in own created component
Dear Chun Kwong,
Assuming that you are using TRNSYS 16, there is no limit on the
maximum allowable size of the storage array. If enough components
need storage space, the global storage array inside the TRNSYS kernel
will expand itself to accommodate whatever is needed. The only thing
you have to remember is to use a call to the setStorageSize()
function to reserve all the space your component needs at the very
beginning of the simulation (when TIME = TIME0)
Yes, you may have more than one component that uses storage within
a simulation. The storage variables from one component are kept
seperate from the storage variables of all others.
Kindest regards,
David

Dear Trnsys users.
I want to use the Storage in my component to pass some calculation
results to the next time step. Does anyone know the maximum allowable
size for the storage array. May I have more than one component with
storage in a project? Your reply is highly appreicated. Thank you!
