Re: [TRNSYS-users] Build TRNDLL

David,
This is a bit strange. I checked and the getnMaxIterations() function is properly exported from the TrnsysFunctions module. One silly thing to check is to make sure that TrnsysFunctions is inlcuded in the CVF project (although if it were not then there would be a whole lot of other errors). My best guess is that if you did a "build" (instead of a "rebuild all") then there might have been a precompiled temporary version of TrnsysFunctions which did not have the function that you need. If that doesn't work, you might try to open TrnsysFunctions and force it to recompile (select Compile from the Build menu), then compile both Type22 and 23 separately before performing a Rebuild All on the entire project.

Hi,

I've just applied the last version of TRNSYS 16.01.0003: in CompaqVisualFortran 6.6B, after importing my UserDll in the cvf66.dsp provided with distribution of TRNSYS, I tried to recompile and link every Dll : It runs with my userDll but failed while linking the main TRNDLL (I want to use old components running in legacy mode inside the main TRNDLL) : type22 and type23 refer to getnmaxiterations function wich should be available since the "use trnsysfunctions" statement is placed at the top of the file but... it failed to find it.
I don't need these types at the moment but it's surprising: what could be the explanation?

Thanks for your help
