Dave & Ahmed, The name of the executable is always the same,
Studio.exe. There is one version for TRNSYS & COMIS (at the
same time), and one for COMIS alone. Only the 'COMIS alone' version will give the error
message " This COMIS stand-alone version of the TRNSYS
studio... " Please use TRNSYS http://software.cstb.fr/soft/present.asp?langue=fr&m=lpr&context=Trnsys if you want to use coupled projects (not COMIS http://software.cstb.fr/soft/present.asp?langue=us&m=lpr&context=COMIS ). TRNSYS contains a demo of COMIS. If you buy the full
version, you can add the full COMIS to the TRNSYS Studio environment (do not
use the Studio delivered with the COMIS version). This is described in .\comis32\Documentation\01-Tutorial.pdf Under 'Getting started' : Installation If COMIS with
Simulation Studio has not been installed on your computer yet, simply introduce the
COMIS 3.2 CD-ROM, start the setup program and follow the instructions on the screen.
We recommend to install the software into the main directory of your hard disc
(such as \comis32), and not under Program Files. Note for TRNSYS users: If you plan to use COMIS with TRNSYS 16.1 or later, you can
create the link between the two environments by adding the following lines to the
Studio.ini file in the . \Trnsys16\Studio\exe directory : [COMIS] COMIS_EXE=\comis32\binary\comis32.exe You can then
work directly in the TRNSYS 16.1 environment to HTH, Werner > -----Message d'origine----- > De : David Bradley [mailto:bradley@tess-inc.com] > Envoyé : vendredi 12 octobre 2007 23:30 > À : Ahmed Megri > Cc : keilholz, werner > Objet : Re: [TRNSYS-users] file for type53 > > Ahmed, > It was my understanding that there is a version of the Studio > (what used to be IISiBat) that was for TRNSYS only (called > TrnsysStudio.exe) and one that is for both COMIS and TRNSYS (called > Studio.exe).
