that's clever, thanks!

Gizmoog,
As far as the beam radiation is concerned, you can use the combination of Type67 and Type34 to define the inverse of your mask:

inside outside

            | |

where Type34 defines the overhang and Type67 defines the inverse of your real mask. Type67 has outputs for whether the beam radiation is visible or not. The output BeamFraction is 0 if beam radiation is blocked and 1 if the beam radiation is not blocked. In your case, you will multiply the unshaded beam radiation by (1-BeamFraction).
You might be able to handle the diffuse radiation in a similar manner.
Cheers,
 David

Dear users,

I try to model a mask but I don't know how to do: my mask is vertical,
at the end of an overhang :

inside outside

            |

Does anybody know how to model that ?
