Re: [TRNSYS-users] (no subject)

Dear Stergiou,

I would recommend that you test your project with the TMY2 data for a station close to the location of the building you are simulating. The 'TRNSYS 16 Expanded Weather Data Setup' contains weather data files for hundreds of locations.
Best regards,

Diego

Hello,
I have a problem using type 16. I am simulate a building in Athens and i need to calculate the radiation. The data that i am using are reliable and they don't seem to be responsible for the error. The problem is that the output of the model becomes really odd by the timestep of 5400h. More specifically the radiation on eastern wall becomes extremely high while the one at the western becomes very low. I expected the two of them to be almost equal. I have tried to change the tilted surface mode but either error occurs or the output doesn't change and even more all changes are made to the eastern wall while the other ones stay almost unaffected. I am also confused with the solar time value (parameter 9) and shift solar time (parameter 7). Before this timestep the outputs are completely normal. I am sending the data of my project if anyone could have a look. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance, Stergiou Christos
