Re: [TRNSYS-users] Trnsys Error Message: Visual Fortran Runtime Error

Julian,
Search your \Trnsys15 directory for a file called cnfgtr.trn and delete all of the ones that have a size of 0KB. When TRNSYS 15 runs, it looks for the settings that are in cnfgtr.trn. If it doesn't find the file, it uses default settings but because of an annoying Fortran feature, when TRNSYS tries to open a cnfgtr.trn that doesn't exist, it creates a blank one. Then, next time you run a simulation, TRNSYS finds a cnfgtr.trn file, thinks it is the correct one and instead finds a blank file. I think once you delete all of the empty cnfgtr.trn files, your simulation will run.

A note to TRNSYS 16 users - cnfgtr.trn is no longer used by TRNSYS 16 so this problem is not something that you have to worry about.
Cheers,
 David

Dear TRNSYS-Users,

Since I changed the Parameter Nr. 9 (Before ?ERROR?)  in the control cards from my  IISiBat SAHP05.tpf file I can?t run any of my .dck files in TRNSYS.
Every try ends up in the attached error message. I reinstalled TRNSYS and recompiled TRNSYS, but without success.
I?m using TRNSYSVersion 15.2 and the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6b.
Somebody is familiar with this kind of error-message and knows a solution?
I really need some help because time is running out?

Thank you and best regards
