Re: [TRNSYS-users] question
Zaratiana,
The buffer storage model is described in section 6.3.2.3.2 of the
06-Multizone Building manual. Basically, though, you must specify three
parameter values for the shallow buffer region and three parameters for
the deep buffer region for each zone of the building. The parameters are
specified by clicking on the "Humidity" button in a zone window
and switching the radio button to "Moisture Capacitance Model"
I assume that you would have to come up with average values of the
parameters in each zone to account for the combination of materials that
make up the zone interior surfaces.
Kind regards,
David

Hello,
I'm a doctorant in a laboratory od thermal comfort in
buildings : ENTPE France. I try to use Trnsys for some simulations but I
cannot find the way how to take into account the moisture buffer capacity
of material when I define different components of a wall.
I have to determine the effects of hygrothermal materials proprieties
(like wood) on the indoor climate.
Thank you for your help.
