Re: [TRNSYS-users] output files in parametric runs
Jose,
Make sure that the names of your output files are the same as the
name of your input file. If you are running MyInput.dck, then name all of
your output files MyInput.out, MyInput.ou1, MyInput.ou2, MyInput.txt,
etc. The extension doesn't matter at all, the output files will be text
as always. You can also use a mode of Type25 in which results are
appended on to the end of an existing data file instead of overwriting
the data file. That option is controlled by one of the Type25
parameters.
Kind regards,
David

Dear Trnsys-users:
I am trying to make parametric runs by TRNSED as per 7.9.2 chapter of the
TRNSYS manual.
Despite the output file (by type25c) have the same name as the deck one,
TRNEDIT doesn't append the run number to *.out files (*1.out, *2.out ,
*3.out... ) unless it writes over and over again the *.out in each
simulation using the last parameters of the parametric table.
Anybody knows how get the *1.out, *2.out,.... *n.out files in parametric
runs???
Cheers
