Re: [TRNSYS-users] TESS Library Type534 Tank model
Amandine,
The external file for Type534 is normally written by the Type534
plugin accessible from the Simulation Studio. Normally, you shouldn't
need to worry about what is in there since the file is written and read
automatically. However, in case there is a problem (like an illegal
parameter value or something) then you can refer to the Type534 section
of the Parameter / Input / Output reference manual that is part of the
documentation:
C:\Program Files\Trnsys16\Tess Models\Documentation\PIO Reference
Manual\ParameterInputOutputReference.pdf
The parameters in the .dat follow in the same order shown in the manual.
If you have trouble understanding the .dat file, please let me know and I
can try to assist.
Cheers,
David

Dear TRNSYS
users,
Where could I get some more information about TESS component 534,
vertically cylindrical storage tank, particularly concerning the external
file data?
Parameters do not include the general parameters of the tank (high, Cp,
etc?); those seem to be included in the external file but PDF TESS
documentation does not provide information about the external file.
Thank you,
Amandine LE DENN
