Re: [TRNSYS-users] A Lot of questions to TRNEDIT

Hallo B. Lang,

we us batch files to make series with different parameters. For each run a certain deck file and in the deck file with e.g.

*|#ASSIGN "***.1h.out" 42

The name of the output files. So the output file will start with the name of the deck file and the extantion .1h.out (in this example).

For optimization of parameters you maybe can use TRNOPT (TESS Product; you have to buy it)  witch is actually a GUI for GENOPT (http://simulationresearch.lbl.gov/GO/) which is for free.

Hope it helps,

Hermann Schranzhofer.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] A Lot of questions to TRNEDIT

Dear TRNSYS users,

I am trying to use TRNEDIT to make an experimental series with a chart. (Type 56)

But I have got a problem, I did not get different output files, so I didn’t know what the simulations shows.

How do I get different output files?

And:

Is there any way to get only the final energy consumption of each simulation run? To compare the effect of the changed factors.

And another question:

Is there a possibility to optimize the system factors?

An example:

I want to optimize the ventilation start and stop temperature, to reduce the energy consumption to a minimum.

Best regards

Bastian Lang
