Re: [TRNSYS-users] wood heater
Olivier,
There is a special non-standard type developed by transsolar: Gas fired
Auxiliary Heater with Flue Condensation. This type is also able to model
a heater using wood or oil as main fuel (there are various parameters
and inputs to define the type of wood used). This type (type 170 or type
370 which is the updated version) can be bought at the trnsys or
transsolar website.
More info on this type can be found at:
www.transsolar.com/__software/download/de/ts_type_370a_de.pdf
(although in German)
Type 370 models a central heating boiler (thus heating water) when you
want to model a stove which transfers (a part of its) heat directly to
the room it is placed in, you should have a look at type 210 (Pellet
stove with liquid heat exchanger)
I've you have more questions regarding type370 feel free to contact me.
Regards,
Raf Gorissen

Good morning,
I'd like to integrate a mass wood stove for different cases of house. Do
you have some information to take in account this specific system. ?
Have a good day,
Olivier
