Re: [TRNSYS-users] new type compiling
David,
The two compilers that the TRNSYS Developers use are the Compaq
Visual Fortran compiler and the Intel Visual Fortran compiler (which does
not have a front end of its own but which plugs into Microsoft Visual
Studio .NET). The Compaq compiler is no longer commercially available and
there are some problems to run the standard source code if it was
compiled on the Intel compiler. These are still being worked out with
Intel. However, there should be no problem to compile external DLLs
(seperate from TRNDll.dll) on the Intel compiler and run them in
TRNSYS.
Kind regards,
David

Dear
all,
I am trying to implement a new type using the Fortran template that is
generated by the studio.
The fact is that when compiling the code an error occurs with the
following message: ?Error: The module file cannot be read. Its format
requires a more recent F90 compiler?. This message refers to the
following part of the code:
USE TrnsysConstants
USE TrnsysFunctions
Could anyone tell me which is the appropriate compiler?
Thanks in advance
David
