Dear trnsys users and developers,
by checking type 34 (Overhang and Wingwall Shading) I found a possible
bug in the calculation of the global radiation incident on a vertical
unshaded surface.
It's calculated as:
GTOT=(GB+GD*0.5d0+RHO*GR) (with GB=beam rad; GD= diffuse rad on
horizontal; GR=total rad on horizontal)
while I think there should be a ground view factor=0.5 taken into
account, so that:
GTOT=(GB+GD*0.5d0+0.5d0*RHO*GR)
GTOT is used in the fraction of solar shading calculation.
Is there anybody who can say what is right?
Thanks in advance
Adriana
