Re: [TRNSYS-users] type 107

Hi Ana,

Files\Type107-HotWaterFiredAbsorptionChiller.dat), but in my simulation I
considered a set-point temperature for the chilled water stream of 24ºC and
inlet hot water temperature equal to 80ºC. It is possible to use those inputs
for this file of the type 107?.

Type107 uses the TRNSYS DynamicData routine to interpolate within the range of data provided in the external files. The DynamicData routine is not able to extrapolate beyond the range of independent variables given in the file. If a value above or below the given range is sent to DynamicData, it will return the closest values (the values that correspond to the top or bottom of the range in the data file). For a bit more information, you can refer to the Type107 documentation in the 05-Mathematical Reference manual or to the DynamicData routine documentation in the 08-Programmer's Guide.

Other question, can you say me about the characteristic of the absorption
chiller (type 107) for this data file? It is LiBr/H2O?.

yes the data provided is for a lithium bromide machine.
Kind regards,
 David
