we noticed different (and amazing...) behaviours of TRNEDIT depending on the way we save , switch between the views: modifications of fields, file's list, ... in the graphic interface of TRNEDIT (working on a *.trd file) are not reported to the code if the file is saved before to switch to code view. If you want to save modifications directly from the graphic view, you have to save it first then close the file and reopen it in order to see your modifications in hte code. There's no trouble if you switch from graphic to code view without saving. Then you have to save the modifications in the code view. If you save from the graphic view and run TRNSYS, the right (modified) values are used by TRNSYS and the modifications are visible in the code if you switch from graphic to code view. => It's not so easy to work ... >It would be very useful for collaborative work on TRNEDIT files (shared folders) to be advised while attempting to access *.trd files already open by another user and preventing saving the file for last users : something like the way it is handled in CVF6. >crash from file's explorer while double-clicking on trd files: it's only possible to open it from an already opened TRNEDIT interface. Is it correct and is there any way to correct this? NB: i'm using the fixed version 4.078 from 17/03/05 of TRNEDIT.
