Re: [TRNSYS-users] RADIATION PROCESSOR

Dear Michele,
If you know the beam and diffuse components of the total radiation (measured on the horizontal), you can use Type16 in mode 3. In the Simulation Studio, this corresponds to Type16e located in Physical Phenomena: Beam and Diffuse Known (Mode=3): Type16e. If you have diffuse on horizontal and direct normal data then direct normal radiation is just beam radiation on a tilted surface that is always perpendicular to the beam radiation. Since the sun's path is always known, you therefore know the tilt of that surface and using algebra, should be able to calculate beam radiation on the horizontal. Once you have beam and diffuse on the horizontal, you can then use Type16 mode 3.
Kind regards,
  David

Hello to all!!!
In the rows weather, in income to DATE READER, I have the solar diffuse radiation and that the directed but not total... as I must make? I add! Which RADIATION PROCESSOR convene to me to use!?

Thanks!
Michele
