Re: [TRNSYS-users] fixed shading
Christophe,
The most complete way to treat shaded windows in Type56 is to
define a new orientation for each of the windows and each of the walls
that you want to treat differently. For example, if you have a south
facing wall and two windows in that wall that are shaded by different
awnings then you should define three ORIENTATIONS in TRNBuild. When it
comes time to define the windows themselves, you add them under the
"Additional Windows" category at the zone level instead of
adding them to the wall in which they are contained. You should keep in
mind that you need to enter the net wall area (wall area minus window
area) for the south wall because TRNBuild no longer knows that there are
windows associated with that wall. When you generate the Type56 files,
you will be asked for three different total radiations, three different
beam radiations, and three different incidence angles. You then hook up
the outputs of your weather reader / radiation processor and Type34 to
the appropriate Type56 inputs.
Kind regards,
David

Dear TRNSYS Users,
I would like to define 2 different windows with 2 different fixed shading
in a same external wall. I think to use 2 type34, to sum the outputs :
- -
Incident
receiver radiation = Incident receiver radiation 1 + Incident receiver
radiation 2
-
Beam radiation
on receiver = Beam radiation on receiver 1 + Beam radiation on receiver
2
And to connect these sums to the TYPE 56 inputs ITSHAD and IBSHAD
respectively. Do I thinking right ? If I don?t, what?s the solution
?
Thanks.
