Re: [TRNSYS-users] type 6 , auxiliary heater
Dear Melanie,
No one has reported any problems with Type6. I have not personally used a
lot of them in a single simulation but Type6 is quite a simple model
internally and I would be quite surprised if there were a fundamental
problem. If you are unable to determine the cause of what you are seeing, I
would suggest that you contact your distributor directly. If you need to
know who your distributor is, please send an email to bradley@tess-inc.com
containing your user id number and I will be happy to look it up for you.
Kind regards,
David

dear readers,
has anybody had any problems using type 6, the auxiliary gas heater in
trnsys 16?
i am using it in my system (about 50 units), but it seems like it does not
calculate the "required heating rate" nor the "rate of energy delivered to
fluid" - outputs correctly
(but it does work when i test it seperately).
i´d be glad to hear some comments
